The project entitled “The conducting of studies relating to developing the organization and standardization of operations at the Byzantine and Christian Museum” was completed as part of the CULTURE 2000-2006 Operational Programme (Call to Participate 1, Measure 3.3 “Preparatory and development studies”).

The project involved the conducting of studies required for the preparation and implementation of important infrastructural projects affecting the organization and standardization of the Museum’s operation as a whole, as well as its developmental activities in general.

Specifically, it included the drawing up of:

1. A preparation, definitive study and implementation study relating to the organization and extension of the BCM’s storage facilities.

2. A definitive study relating to the organization and administration of the BCM’s historic and photographic archive.
