Green Cultural Routes 2025

As part of the communication initiative “Green Cultural Routes” (May 22–25, 2025), organized by the Directorate of Archaeological Museums, Exhibitions and Educational Programs of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, the Byzantine and Christian Museum is organizing the following activities for the general public on Saturday, May 24:

Thematic guided tour of the permanent exhibition:
Discovering Nature through Selected Exhibits of the Byzantine and Christian Museum
Time: 10:00–11:00 and 11:00–12:00 -
Presentation at the Conservation Laboratory of Minor Arts and Ceramics:
“Glass: A Material Always in Recycling”
Time: 11:00–12:00 and 12:30–13:30
Meeting point: Main entrance, Byzantine and Christian Museum
Maximum number of participants per group:
– 20 participants for the guided tour
– 12 participants for the presentation
Registration:
Advance registration is required by calling +30 213 213 9513 (Wednesday–Friday, 10:00–14:00).
On Saturday, May 24, admission to the Museum will be free of charge for participants in the activities.
