The “Production of cultural journals and publications by the Byzantine and Christian Museum” project was implemented as part of the CULTURE 2000-2006 Operational Programme (Invitation IV, “Cultural Publications”, of Measure 2.1 “Bolstering infrastructure and major communicational events in contemporary culture”).

The project related to the publication of cultural texts in Greek and English with a view to broadening and developing the Museum’s communication and educational policy. Specifically, it sought to bolster communication and raise awareness of the Museum’s collections, the research it carries out and the cultural activities it organizes (exhibitions, conferences etc.) with a view to making specialist knowledge available to everyone, to attracting new visitor groups, and to encouraging their participation in the Museum’s wide-ranging cultural activities.
