The “INBA/RAF Project: Interactive Network of Byzantine Art” project was co-funded by the European Commission and took place between 1999 and 2001. For the needs of the project, the Byzantine and Christian Museum collaborated with the Museo della Cultura e delle artI figurative bizantine e normaíne in San Marco d’ Alunzio, and with the Institut für Byzantinistik und Neogräzistiê / Universität Wien. The project sought to create a network for the exchange of know-how in the sphere of Byzantine art conservation.
